Washi Tape Art - Christmas Tree

Items you will need:

1. Washi tape of your choice

2. Water color + paint brush

3. Blank Pen Pal Kids card

Steps:

1. Get a blank Pen Pal Kids card and choose a side you want to work with (front or inside).

2. Get 3 pieces of tape and orient them in the middle of the card into the shape of a triangle.

3. Cut another small piece and place it at the bottom of the triangle (trunk of the tree).

4. Grab some water color + brush and have your child paint over the tape on the entire card. They can use any color and be creative.

5. Once the painting is complete, remove the washi tape. You will be left with a silhouette of a Christmas tree!

Tips for the star:

• Place a star sticker.

• You can use a white crayon to draw a star.

• Cut 3 pieces of washi take into thinner strips and orient them into the shape of an asterick. Remove after using watercolor.

• After painting, you can put a dot of glue at the top and add some glitter.
