Pen Pal Kids Co. was created with my daughter in mind & my personal love for writing letters. From an early age, my husband and I encouraged our daughter to write a few words and to draw in a journal. Recently she started to routinely send letters to family and friends using the same idea. The act of sending a letter motivated her to write more, but it was always a struggle to find the right type of paper. If it was art friendly, there were a lack of lines. If we used lined paper, my daughter would complain that her drawings were ruined by the lines. I wanted to create stationary that allows children to not only create beautiful artwork on a blank canvas, but provide handwriting lines to assist in practicing writing letters. Pen Pal Kids Co.’s goal is to provide a fun way to encourage early writing and expression through art in young children while creating long lasting pen pals!
